We're in a "floater" and I just realized it has no oven. Can someone staying in a land cabin loan us your oven to heat up the BBQ for Sat. night?

Bob: We're in a "floater" too, so we're bringing a couple of crock pots to heat the Brunswick Stew along with some long extension cords to keep it warm during serving.

Neel Thompson is in a land cabin. I'm sure he'll make an oven available. Right now I have a land 2 BR. But I think I'm going to change to floating.

My wife and I will have to tent camp at Shellmound campground one exit away, but we will for sure have at least one large bowl of pasta salad for either or possibly both nights. When she gets back from Vegas, I will see if we can come up with an additional dish.

Neel and I were just talking. Does the group want draft beer or just a variety of cans. We have money in the kitty to cover this. But, we take donations from the beer drinkers that usually covers the cost. That way others don't feel like they a subsiding the rest of us.

If you want draft, some feedback of what you would like will go a long way. Neel and I drink cans. So, we don't really care.

Well. The chili is made. Little spice to it. It's always a little different because I don't have a recipe. I'm letting it simmer right now before I package it.

It has always amazed me how these Gatherings come together. That applies here and in Australia. Good people just make it happen.
