FOOD for G-15

Post by Bill Edmundson »

Catering the whole thing seems out $$$.

Thursday Night Neel and Craig have spaghetti pegged. This is a Great Meet and Great opportunity, DON"T miss it!

Friday Morning: Waffles and Sausage, Capt. Dave and Melisa
Friday Lunch: On the lake during the Poker Run.
Friday Night: Low Country Boil, Ken S. W/Bryan J.

Saturday Morning: Sausage & Biscuits & maybe eggs, Adam and Mel
Saturday Lunch? Maybe Hotdogs and chips.
Saturday Night: I've been thinking doing Smoked Pork Shoulders or Butts, or Jerk Chicken. We have about $800 in the kitty. I have a nice smoker. I can do at least 6 butts at a time or 2 Turkeys. Will need help cutting this stuff up. And SIDES! Bring your favorite sauce!
Butch has thrown if fried turkey!

Sunday Morning: ?
Sunday Lunch most people are leaving:

Butch and I usually put out coffee in the morning!

Pork and/or turkey sounds great. We can discuss as a group at the gathering which sides, desserts, and other goodies we need and, based on participation, decide how much. I think we can get much locally. People can kick back into the kitty or provide food items.

For us, since we have a nice kitchen, I would prefer breakfast in our lodge. Lunches on the go for us. Friday and Saturday dinner in the Pavillion is good.

Quite some time ago, I did mention bringing back the Friday Low Country boil.
I now have the Poker Run,
However, if I can recruit some assistance with prep on the boil, I can still swing that.
If I had a sous-chef volunteer, I could do this.

Mel and I are planning on doing sausage with biscuits and gravy on Saturday morning, possibly scrambled eggs if my daughter-in-law and son-in-law come as well!

Kens:

I have no problem being your sous-chef. Just tell me what to do.

Koozies are here! They were $129 out of the Kitty. They look good. If I can get a good picture I'll post it.

Thanks to Michael Maddix for the art work! :)
