Carl,
We've been very lucky here for many years, but the Gulf Coast from Pensacola to Texas not so much. We are about ten miles east of the beaches, so our place is great for boating and fishing, but not beaching. I think being inland some may help with the hurricanes. But Bill is right: I will be long gone if one is heading our way.

Fish ick is good on some days, like the days with blood&guts all over, it looks like there been a homicide.
A bait knife (prison shank), and a 9mm (get your $30 lure back)
Now that's a good days fishing !!

Re: Neel's Palm Beach 22 build
I made it back to PA on Tuesday and picked up where I left off on the PB. I have the aft deck battens ready to be glued in and have also been working on laminating mahogany on the bucket seats. I checked up on my motor and it should be finished within a couple weeks. I really need to get the motor installed before finishing the decks. So, I can get the aft deck and forward deck battens installed and faired before the motor gets here. Happy to be back at it!!

Re: Neel's Palm Beach 22 build
I've just about finished putting the mahogany on the two bucket seats. Also received the engine turned aluminum insert for the dash and the instruments from Classic Instruments. All switches are on order and should be here tomorrow. I plan on installing the switches for ignition, lights, horn, and blowers on the dash insert. Trim tab controls and Simrad Cruise 5 GPS will mount directly to the mahogany dash.
