Uhhhhh....yep.

I didn't intend it to work out this way, wanted burgundy bottom and bright deck, but the multi-shade deck sent me to the paint store. So now that it is burgundy (close enough to crimson) and Hatteras Off-White, should the little boat be christened.....ZipTide?? :lol:

Masking tape is gone, next is wet sanding to smooth everything out then clear poly. Seats went to the upholstery guy today.

Waiting for the revenoor officer to come by and assign a hull ID number so I can register the boat and donate to the county coffers.

Mount for the control unit includes a digital voltmeter, light switch, USB charge outlet and hourmeter.

Need Insurance

The Zip is registered and ready to get wet but I want to insure it. My local independent agent couldn't find a carrier that wanted to insure my "homemade wood" boat (I prefer "custom-built") so am asking for which underwriters y'all use for hull and liability coverage. I prefer an agreed value policy.
