I know I want a bench seat in the back and two separate seats in the front with an arm rest running along the sides for drink holders. Throttle control and maybe some switches in the drivers location. I will add a picture of the type of front seats I am thinking about. I would also like to have at least forward/backward movement in the drivers seat. If anyone has a basic pattern for the seats they would like to share I would appreciate it.

I must admit I'm very happy with how the exhaust pipe turned out. My only concern was having to use that 90 elbow up front. I know you are supposed to avoid sharp angles but we will have to wait and see if it causes any issues when we fire her up.

I've been looking at pictures of captain chairs for my boat since I plan on mounting them on pedestal mounts. But the actual design I will use is still not determined yet.

That is a lovely interior on whatever boat that was taken from.

It's a Higgins. I was thinking seriously of fitting out the Tahoe like that. In a lot of ways it would of been more practical in our heat.

A nicely designed bimini top will provide the shade you need.We have the same problem here, sun as hot as a furnace in the summer. It's one of the main reasons I shortened the length of the cabin on my boat and I will also be doing a bimini top of some type.

Tops can't be too big .We have a longer top on our 14 ft river boat than Innocence has need all the shade you can get in Florida

So been working on the front cockpit. Floor and side panels roughed out. Back bench seat done with storage room under seat. Have mocked up a front seat from cardboard to give me an idea of postion and how it will look. Will probably put in some panelling in the front of the cockpit with access into the bow section.
Once I have done the front seats I will start running the wiring before the deck goes on.

As you can see in the last photo I wasn't happy with the position of the steering, so I cut a plug, glued it in and will shift the steering an inch or two to the left. Thanks Tom. I like your work on the cutwater. It would be handy if I had the gear and could actually weld. It would save a bit on the trailer too!

I had a dash hole that got moved too, gives the boat character. My neighbor did the welding, its handy to have the guy with the gear and most of the boat welding experience just down the street.

Have finished the fit-out of the cockpits and veneered the seats. Completed the ply sub-deck and am starting on the cover boards and king boards. Have made templates for the cover boards and will use these to route the coverboards using a straight router bit with a top guide.

Exiting times when decking is going on, start getting to see it in reality rather than trying to visualise what it would look like.
