Went for a 6 hour "Chug" in "Chug-A-Lug" today.Really calm weather.Love the way other boaters change their route to come close enough to see the goofy boat.They're not harassing;just trying to figure out what I'm driving.So ,when you're building your boats,It's really cool when you add to the design and make it your own.Went out in 4 to 5 ft swells last week in attempt to see how stable the boat was.Was spinning cookies and was rockin' and rollin' but really did well.
Theres a reef to avoid on Flag Island and a sand bar on one of the little islands and Brush Island to venture slightly in but they're threating 3/4 million fine if caught fishing or 1 million if bringing covid across.Yikes
Not yet.Been too lazy,I guess.Kinda cool now and skeeters would have kept me awake last summer.Boat is now on the trailer for the winter.Had to go wading off the end of the ramp as the water was low.BRRRRRRRR!Plan a few changes-maybe more enclosure canvass and less hard enclosure.
