Building a boat is truly an inspiring and fun project. The many things that we learned in life that are incorporated into building a boat along with the things we learn during the process are awe inspiring. The pride we have in our experience and the friendships gained as we network out sharing knowledge. These are things you can never experience on an I phone. Whether it's a family project or something done with friends or on your own, it makes memories and friendships that are life long. So glad to have experienced this and be a part of the Glen L family of builders.

Thank you, Roberta. We are truly blessed to have you as part of our family. You continue to be an inspiration to our company and for those building boats everywhere. Your advice and comments to other builders are priceless. I hope you and Rich are enjoying your "retirement".

We are!! Thank you!! Finishing up things on the big Torpedo and nearly completed on the Little one. So far no issues with the pandemic. Hasn't really affected us much.

Gayle

Thanks for the Gathering plug! I just reserve our cabin, Floating No. 2. (Yes, I know!) They asked that I encourage people to go ahead and book. They are fully booked until the end of August. They still have our time blocked out. So far, we're light on commitment.

I know that everyone is wondering what is going to happen in the next few months! Please reserve your spot. Deposit is the first night. At least, for a while you can get that back.

I read the newsletter Gayle and saw the part about naming the Vera Cruise after you're mother. I found this out somewhere several years ago, but it was nice to see it in written word. Your mom was beautiful. A very fitting tribute to her to name the design after her.

Thanks, Carl. My mom was a beautiful person. I think I may have said something to you about the Vera Cruise directly, not sure. Bill, I'm glad to hear that the resort is taking a positive outlook. I'll keep mentioning the gathering in my emails... I really miss you folks.

Right On, My family will be hauling ass across a lake this weekend in a Glen L boat I built myself. I get to go and do as I please, thank you US Constitution !! While in the Air Force, I spent several years in other countries, no thank you. I love my home.

I wholeheartedly agree! God bless America. May it always be a place of freedom for ALL! And God bless all our boat building friends.

Matts comment regarding other countries is right on. I only served for 5 years back in the late 60’s and saw enough to appreciate what America provides. Too many people just dont know what they dont know! I call that unconscience incompetence.
