We have Potters Lake about a half mile away that we used to test all the boats. It's not very big but it is handy. Sort of like having it outside the shop.

Looks like the one I put on the Torpedo. Can't remember the exact location, but close to that. Turns good, but I always had it there, so no comparison. Can't hurt much, if at all.

Delrin is another choice. Depends on availability and size choices. Either are good with some trade offs. I've used both for spacers and bushings. I know this won't sound very palatable, but if the engine angle is changed during alignment, that will bring the front and rear mounts either closer or f...

You could use UHMWPE strips or blocks for spacers. The material comes in a variety of widths and thicknesses, is easily drilled and cut, and affords some vibration insulation. Amazon sells it. Very tough but workable. Easier than steel, better than wood.

The Purple wire from the ignition switch should be the right wire. You are opening the circuit between the switch and the engine when safety stop is pulled.

Do you have the SeaStar control with the nice red lanyard? That is what I have.
