Re: Show me your Seat Backs

Ken

Sorry the pictures are bad. the tank is behind the seat. The seat back is bolted in with t-nuts thru the frame. The base has barrel nuts that the frame bolts to. It all comes out if I ever need to get to the tank or rudder log.

Re: Hello from North Idaho!

The little tugs are fun projects. Get the kids involved. Let them sand and paint, etc. A trolling motor will do nicely. The biggest mistake will be not starting!

It doesn't have to be perfect. They will love and remember ir the rest of their lives! :)

Re: hi fellow boat builders

DO NOT USE RED OAK! It wicks water and swells. When it swells it breaks the encapsulation. This makes the problem worse. Then it rots.

Re: Using A Security Battery For Testing

Other than the starter I don't know that it wouldn't work. Charger you may want to use one of the lower amp settings. I'm a Civil Eng. So, I don't do wires.

I use a regular charger on my generator battery and it works fine.

Lee

Round the chine to about like a wood pencil. And that is about as sharp as it needs to be.

Re: FOOD for G-15

Koozies are here! They were $129 out of the Kitty. They look good. If I can get a good picture I'll post it.

Thanks to Michael Maddix for the art work! :)

I'm in salt/brackish water. Surge/disc/torsion axle. When the drums died the trailer guy refused to even think about drums.
You can unhook the lights on the ramp to launch. But, you won't back on the flat.

Re: G15 Dates and Location

The koozies are ordered. We bought 100. Almost no price difference than 75. There is a price break at 100 and no shipping.
So, take what you want. It's out of the Kitty. Also lots of old ones.

Chris

I used plastic split loom. You can get it at the box store or on-line. Tape will work. But, it will be a pain if you have to undo it.
