Re: 20ft Texas Barrel

I went with laminated safety glass with a tinted film in the centre.
Wasn’t cheap was about $450.00 but looks great and all good so far.

Re: Aussie Belle

Hi all,

Have been getting out in the Belle quite a bit.
Some pics of the last weekend attached.

We our ashes a 4m x2m inflatable pontoon for use at the dam, it is awesome, makes getting in and out so much easier.

Re: Space Coast Barrelback

I love the chine line at the front of the Barrelbacks I stated at the stern and went forward and wherever it landed in a nice relaxed state is where the chine met the stem. I don’t think it is too important so long as the line flows nicely as it doesn’t touch the water when on the plane and sits abo...

Re: barrel back 19 in annapolis

Hi all, I went with no glass anywhere on the boat. Only have epoxy paint or polyurethane clear for protection. We use our boat most weekends for kneeboarding, tubing and skiing, there is a lot of foot traffic on the deck and hatch, people climbing in over the sides with life vests with zippers. The ...

Re: Aussie Gathering 2021

Good afternoon all, I am from the GlenL family in Australia and i am sending out an invite to see if anyone is interested in catching up at the 22nd Bribie Island Boat regatta to be held at Bribie on the 29-30 of May 2021? I know that it is a long way for some to travel but I am throwing the idea ou...

Re: Caulk between deck planks on Zip

Hi all, That’s correct, you will find it in my build thread. Glad it worked out for you, I also liked the way that you can fill and sand smooth also I like it being bright white over the traditional off white. So easy to apply when mixed thick and use a scalper to push into the gap, just ensure that...

Re: Bob Brown’s Belle

Hi Bob, I went with 4 large (2 forward facing and 2 rear) over the engine bay and 2 small rear facing that both have blowers that vent towards the rear, works a treat. I also have the same windshield brackets and am extremely happy with them, I waited 18 weeks for mine! They even got lost on the way...

Re: Bob Brown’s Belle

Looking good Bob! There is a lot of work in the shaping on the transom for the barrel backs, lines look great 👍 Classic boat supplies are where I got my vents, windshield brackets, fuel cap, fuel vent and bow light. I actually requested that they source the vents and step pads from foresti Saudi an ...

Hi there,

I have a few pics in my build pages, don’t overthink it, so long as both sides are the same and you are happy with the lines.
