I'm going to strip the paint of my Tuffy next spring and do a total mock up on the colour scheme.

The question is what can I safely use to strip the paint but not ruin or scar the glass epoxy coating underneath it? Should I use a low grit sand paper and wet sand it?

My scheme for any of you wondering is going to be high gloss black bottom with some sort of simple red accents continuing up from that. Topside decking is going to be old school Mercury racing three tier Red, Orange, Yellow on both sides maybe even with TUFFY in white bold letters like MERCURY did.
