We will be there Sat March 27

If anyone is interested in meeting other Glen-L people, it would be nice to designate a time and place at the show, say at the beverage tent at 1:00 Pm or somewhere to get to meet the most people.

The docks may get crowded if we meet there with others walking past.

Any ideas? Dinner somewhere after?

Can't do dinner but would love to meet for lunch. 1:00 is fine with me. Good point about not meeting on the docks. Is the beverage tent different from the food area? I was there last year but can't remember the layout.

How will we know each other? By the fingers epoxied together, the sawdust in the hair, or the holes in our clothes since the boat is over budget?

The best part about a manual screwdriver is not needing to remember if you left it in reverse.

Completion is but one step in the process and not one bit more important than the others.

I can't remember the set-up either....will have to look for the food tent. The links don't show much info.
I will wear a Glen-L shirt,or boat designs hat.
Debbie will modify our Gathering name tags to read Glen-L designs and we will have them on too
Some of us know each other so as the snow ball builds,it should get easier to find all of us.
I think 1:00 is reasonable at the food court wherever that will be

Also, probably by the epoxy, cause the restorers seem to like the 5200 approach!!

Looks like the food tent is the meeting place. I was checking the itinerary and noted that the amphibious cars put on a launch show at 1:00 PM. If we were to meet at 3:00 PM at the food area, it wouldn't be as crowded and we wouldn't miss the show! What do you all think? Or am I the only one interested in seeing floating cars??!?

I plan to be there so I will see you at 3. I rode in one of those amphicars when I was about 15 and I would love to do it again.

3:00 is fine with us too

Do we just want to list screen names here then post phone #'s to those people in a mass PM? I forgot how we did that for the Gathering.

Or just have the #'s in open public forum?

Wow guys! Have a wonderful time and be sure and send us some photos!

BTW, I recommend you don't post phone numbers on the Forum--you just never know...

Enjoy...

Bruce Dow built the spreadsheet of people for the Gathering. I'm not sure if he just sent it to the organizers or all the attendees.

But, it should not be general distribution.

Bill

PS: Wish I could come!

I had the pleasure of meeting Robt and his Dad today at the show. We look forward to a Glen-L social at 3PM tomorrow. By the way, photos don't do Robert's Zip justice. It's magnificent. We'll have pictures next week.
