Seat for Sliding Seat

How, with what tools did you sculpt the seat?

I used a band saw, oscillating spindle sander and router to create the external shape. The sculpting of the seat was done with an angle grinder equipped with coarse sand paper and then a lot of hand sanding. I drew a lot of lines on the top and front side to define the shape and guide the grinding. It took a while, but I think it came out pretty well.
