Anybody ever put an outboard in a Poweryak?

I have finally completed the Poweryak. I have come to the conclusion that our New England windy conditions are no place for the high freeboard, low keel and weak thrust of a 55lb Electric trolling motor on the Poweryak. Has anybody ever placed a 15 HP outboard inside the poweryak, similar to an inboard?? I could then increase the size of the keel, add a large rudder ans scoot along quite nicely.

If you would like to spend a few bucks check out those outboard electrics at west marine...torqueeno? something like that...

I am trying to stay away from Electric motors. I find for the money spent gas has much more going for it. Reliability for repairs, dependability due to its simplicity.

the electrics that Steve was talking about are different,they aren't like old trolling motors.
I agree with you on the gas,but you should check out these just for the heck of it
