Which comes first chines and sheers or keel
The stem and transom are currently temporarily anchored. Pulling on the chines moves both. Is it better to attach the keel first to stabilize both?
Re: Which comes first chines and sheers or keel
I attached the keel first, right or wrong, my logic was the keel helped stabilize everything. You will have better luck if you can work symmetrically pulling on both chines at the same time will help equalize the forces on the transom and stem. It is really easy to pull thing out of shape so check early and more often than I did
