In the directions, it says the planking has to be 1/2" thick, which is no problem. The Width is between 1/2" - 5/8", this makes it little squares. In the pictures on the website, the wood used does not look square, and does not look 1/2" wide. Could i use 1" to 2" wide planks on this boat???
I have built Cedar strip kayaks before, and usually use 1/4" thick, and 1"-3/4" wide, it bent great.

You only need two tools in life - WD-40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move
and should, use the WD-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.
