If you go that way, bias cut the fabric so it lays over the edges better. What time is lunch? We don't want to be late.

yes, I did the bias cut on the bow ends of the canoe, regular fabric, just bias cut it for the ends, it forms tight curves very well.
I got a little bit of scuffing on bottom of the bow, scuffs from mostly concrete boat ramp beaching.
local boat ramp access does not have any soft spot to park the canoe.
