Building the 12' Orca

This is my second sup build and it's going much easier than the first one. The frame kit is the paulowina instead of the mahogany and I like it better. Is it worth the extra cost? That's a toss up but it looks nicer. Too bad it's inside the board. On this board I'm using african mahogany and basswood. My first board came out at 48 lbs and I'm hoping to get this one lighter even though it's longer. We'll see. I am also adding a hand hold that the first board didn't get. It should be much easier to carry around and lift out of the water.
