Final coat of epoxy is on the bottom and the fin glued in. Tomorrow I'll sand the bottom and epoxy the top, add the vent and leash cup, then varnish.

Your board looks awesome! Beautiful work!
How much does it weigh? Id love to see a photo lengthwise to show the rocker and shape you put on it.

Not sure I want to weigh it, but I will this week. I'm curious too. I'll get a picture from the side to show the rocker. There is a lot and that made it a real bear to install the rails. I my have been able to plane the boards thinner, but I've seen boards where the deck was too thin and or softer wood and the guys knee broke through. I'm learning.

Okay bjfrater, these show the rocker and board shape. Still haven't weighed it, but will do that tomorrow. I'll have to do another post to get the other pictures posted.

Been a while, but I've had a lot going on. Too many fun projects. The SUP needs one ore coat of varnish and she should be ready for the water.

Awesome, Ron--it looks really nice. Once you get the final varnishing done, post some more photos and also some of the board in use and we'll put it on our site. It will be nice to have some photos of our own builders shown! Great job...

We are at our home in Mexico and got the board off the camper tonight. Tomorrow will be her maiden voyage, so I'll post pics tomorrow. Can't wait to see if she floats....lol

Well, she floats. With a storm at sea the water was pretty rough for a beginner. I did manage to stand up a few times before a wave knocked me off balance.
