Buidling a Sea Kayak
I'd like to build the 17' sea kayak but I'd like to know if the hull is flat, rounded or an angled chine also, are the sides straight or flared. And, will this kayak hold a 260 lb person? Thanks

Being a S&G kayak, it would be hard chined. It wouldn't be flat bottomed.

By your description I would say it is angle chined. Side like flared, but angled to me.
In my experience, though limited, a kayak performs better with a bit of weight in it anyway.
A lower center of gravity is also beneficial. Don't ask me how I know that.
