1) Plywood saturated with epoxy.
2) 6 oz. fiberglass saturated with epoxy.
3) Two fill coats of epoxy.
4) Sanded as mentioned previously

I am planning on primer, then paint. My question is if I have made it too smooth for the primer to adhere. Should i sand a gain with a coarser grit?

paint prep
I've sanded my dory with: 100, 180, 240, and 320. Now I've been told that it might be too slick for the paint to bite. Should I sand again with a coarser grit before painting?

Driftboat/Drifter
Glen-L has drift boats listed under Human Power and Specialty Boats. My friend is interested in a boat of this type and I am going to help him build it. What are the differences between these on the Glen-L site?
