I live so close that it took less than one day for me to get my delivery by ground mail. I thought it would take two or three days to get through the mail, but I guess not

I keep hearing people talking about glassing their hulls, but what is glassing?

yeah I realized a couple days ago that I probably can't launch it in town for three reasons:
1. the beach is owned by the air force base
2. It's probably too shallow where it's not gov. owned.
3. Theres no boat ramps.

But about an hour away there is a port with a boat sling. would that work?

Is ten miles "far" ? because i might be able to get it launched at the beach I live near, I don't think there would be many lines and I might be able to get the parks to give permission. The reason is I want to build the amigo, but I don't want to build a trailer.

How do you guys get boats that are too big for trailers to the ocean?

I'm very new to boat building and I have a couple of questions for you elder boat builders. what is cold-molded wood building? Also what is up with the strips of plywood put on in different directions I keep seeing in the pictures like on the fourth page of pictures for the Francis Drake?

Has anyone built it? I kinda wanted to know the cost and how well it rows. Also can I adjust it so that it is not made with stitch- and- glue.
